Major renovation of SMU's iconic Moody Coliseum.

SMU Moody Coliseum MEP

The landmark space is home to SMU basketball, volleyball, and community events. The renovation and expansion featured new seating, entertainment areas, and court improvements. The Miller Event Center's addition includes the Miller Champions Club and suites with courtside views, along with administrative support areas. The North Club and Hall of Fame Club serve food and drinks. New seating was added throughout the approximately 7,000-seat arena, including 12 courtside suites, 80 loge seats, club seats, courtside retractable seating for students, and accessible seating. The building renovation included a full renovation of the existing HVAC system. It is served off the campus chilled water/steam loops. All new lighting was upgraded throughout the existing space and the renovation. The building is served by SMU's existing medium voltage loop as well as SMU's campus emergency backup power.
