Loddie Naymola Basketball Performance Center

The new basketball facility is the largest investment in SFA Athletics history.

The Loddie Naymola Basketball Performance Center at Stephen F. Austin University connects to the arena via a new underground tunnel, where the men's and women’s home basketball games are played. Scope includes a new practice gym, workout facilities, and coaches' offices, and it also included improvements to the arena, including the new loge boxes within the seating bowl. Chilled water rooftop air handling units and one DX Rooftop unit specially designed to handle high humidity for a hydrotherapy room. Due to the decorative nature of large wooden beams and wood ceilings, the practice gym was designed to keep all HVAC ductwork out of the space. New 1600A main electrical service fed from the university campus loop and distribution throughout. Plumbing design encompasses a design for (2) hydrotherapy pools and associated pits and pumps.
